You berate the right for being bitter over the past treatment of Bush and the current treatment of everyone not a liberal.

Go ahead actually show us some leadership. Stop being petty and vindictive, stop making shit up. Stop name calling and lying about who and why people are protesting. Stop playing the race card every chance you get.

Actually show us the supposed leadership you want to inspire.

Get your Congressman, Senators and the President to actually show some leadership instead of petty bully tactics and Chicago style politics.

I realize this will not happen, but for once in your adult life act like a leader and not a partisan hack. YOU control the Country, you have 265 votes in the House, 59 votes in the Senate and the President is a Democrat. Quit claiming Republicans are blocking anything and admit you have the power. If you can not pass things it is not because of Republicans, it is because DEMOCRATS do not agree with your policies and plans, with your legislation and your bills.

Quit claiming that 55 Republican Senators ran the whole show under Bush but 60 and now 59 Democrats ( with independents) can not do the same. GROW the hell up and act like leaders.

Don't worry, Gunny, the gang of six in the Senate are almost there with a deal, and Obama has told the liberals in the House if they want continued Presidential patronage they will get in line. The President is the most Liberal Senator ever to serve and Pelosi and Reed are in lock step with him. Meaningless. The White House lined up the House backbenchers for cap-and-trade, and that thing can't get to a floor vote in the Senate.

Well technically libertarians have always been more liberal than so-called liberal Democrats if you want to be a stickler for terms. Classical liberalism, true liberalism in my opinion, is closest to libertarianism.

We blame Obama for the Afghanistan war because he hasn't ended it in his almost 8 months in office, and has sent more troops to Afghanistan. You can't distance yourself from a war that you've supported and made worse.

That's wishful thinking Retired GT Seargant but the word liberal and the word leader both start with an L but that's where it ends also. Liberals are not leaders.
