The left Coast is likely lost Probably within 48 hours

Unless China changes its demands tariffs increase a lot Friday at 001 hours. Chinese trade with the US goes through Pacific ports and that has a huge mostly indirect effect on those coastal states. The effects on China and the EU will be even bigger but that coastal part of the Blue wall will have the Ds scrambling. Even after the trade deal is done a lot of creative bookkeeping will be uncovered and that will have longer term effects.

So the $5 shirt at Walmart will cost $6. Big deal.

All nations should be providing goods and services in around a 75% or above range for themselves, and trading unique goods that aren't easily available in one country or another.

That is the way trade should be in the world today, and it shouldn't have ever got out of hand like this.

If the nation's were trading in these ways, it would have cut down on world pollution, landfill waste, green house gases or anything else the world is crying about now.

Greed has caused every bit of this mess to date, and the culprits ought to be ashamed of themselves for the huge problems caused from it all now.

We can trade with other nation's, but we should trade ethically, morally, fairly, and the main thing we should always do it in a way that covers our aces while promoting always American job's, and American security while doing so.
