The Latest On The Culture Of Death {Government murder}

And here I assumed this would be about police brutality :dunno:

Why would you assume that ?

The "culture of death" is pretty much associated with our current discussion on health care.

I've heard it used in a few different contexts--usually by the religious zealot types, about something they saw in pop culture.

But you thought it would be about police brutality.

Interesting.

Because the title mentioned {government murder} which is mostly exclusive to the blue shirts.

And because it wouldn't be the first time a thread was started in the wrong forum and just sat there instead of being moved. :dunno:

So it's your belief that there was no greed before there were taxes? Fascinating!
To Arianrhod: Give it up! Private sector greed punishes the killers when they kill one innocent victim. Tax dollar greed rewards the killers when they kill vast numbers.
You are never going to get it through......
To Sun Devil 92: I know, but I often use replies from idiots to elaborate on a topic for those readers who agree with me.
Because no one ever, ever murdered elderly patients before the PPACA.
To Arianrhod: Of course psychopaths did; often claiming they were mercy killings. Socialists have been killing in large numbers aside from Communist governments slaughtering their own people in the tens of millions. Do some research on the UK’s National Health Service's brutal killing machine. Left up to Democrats like Donald Berwick it would already be here.

Republicans caricatured Dr. Berwick as an advocate of health care rationing because of comments he had made before coming to Washington. He had, for example, lavishly praised the British health care system. In an interview with a biotechnology journal in 2009, he said, “The decision is not whether or not we will ration care — the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open.”

Forget culture of death.........

There is a necessary discussion about the cost of end of life care.

It would be interesting to see how much we spend on it relative to other countries.

There is a necessary discussion about the cost of end of life care.
To Sun Devil 92: A discussion about the cost of deliberate neglect to maximize profits is even more pressing:

The biggest problem is the unholy alliance between the hospital industry and complacent federal bureaucrats. They all want to keep problems quiet. Publicizing infections is bad for hospital revenues and erodes the public’s misplaced confidence that the federal government is performing its oversight function. Doctors were kept out of the loop about the dangers of these scopes. But the real victims in this conspiracy of silence are trusting patients.

Government Dysfunction Costs Lives
Hospital infections continue to kill, while federal agencies remain indifferent.

Government Dysfunction Costs Lives

The relatively new hospital-caused killer cited in McCaughey's article can be added to the thousands of annual deaths caused by long-standing deadly infections in a hospital that otherwise healthy patients contract after they check in. See this thread about staph infections and money:

Oct. 16, 2007 -- It appears that more people in the U.S. now die from the mostly hospital-acquired staph infection MRSA than from AIDS, according to a new report from the CDC.

The information in the UK Telegraph article bounces between coma and brain dead:

Scientists will use a combination of therapies, which include injecting the brain with stem cells and a cocktail of peptides, as well as deploying lasers and nerve stimulation techniques which have been shown to bring patients out of comas.

XXXXX

However, although brain dead humans are technically no longer alive, their bodies can often still circulate blood, digest food, excrete waste, balance hormones, grow, sexually mature, heal wounds, spike a fever, and gestate and deliver a baby.

“Through our study, we will gain unique insights into the state of human brain death, which will have important connections to future therapeutic development for other severe disorders of consciousness, such as coma, and the vegetative and minimally conscious states, as well as a range of degenerative CNS conditions, including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease,” added Dr Sergei Paylian, Founder, President, and Chief Science Officer of Bioquark Inc.

Dead could be brought 'back to life' in groundbreaking project

Does “. . . back to life . . .” mean back from brain dead? If the answer is YES, it must mean that the patient was never dead to begin with. Note that “. . . brain dead humans are technically no longer alive . . .”; whereas, a patient in a coma was always alive by every medical, technical, and legal definition.
NOTE: The term brain dead was created by Harvard butchers in 1968. Their reason was obvious. Calling a medical condition brain dead quickly acquired a precise legal definition insofar as a charge of homicide was avoided when killing someone in a coma. In plain English: A brain dead diagnosis was created as a legal excuse to kill.

UPDATE ON MURDER
Let me begin by pointing out that the type of person who profits from the Affordable Care Act will staff the hospitals, testing labs, etc. They are the very type Democrats want to encourage, and take part in, everything that was done to Terri Schiavo.
Twelve years ago on this day, Terri Schindler Schiavo died from starvation and dehydration after her feeding tube was removed by order of a judge at the request of her husband.

The media and her husband, Michael Schiavo, asserted Terri was in a “persistent vegetative state,” but her parents and brother, Bobby Schindler, insisted otherwise, claiming she was able to swallow, laugh and express love for her family.

“If you go back and look at her records, she was starting to form words,” her brother told WND in a 2015 interview on the 10th anniversary of her death. “It was really encouraging to our family, and to Michael right at first.”
