Chief executive of Regina’s Chamber of Commerce John Hopkins dubs what is occurring in Saskatchewan’s labour market as “the perfect storm”. The economy there is growing but there is an aging workforce at a time when demand for workers is high, and likely to remain so for the next 20 years.

Isnt it extremely hard to immigrate to Canada, Ive heard you need at least a phd to be considered. With no immigration they cant fill the positions.

    There's never a labor shortage.

What there is however, is a shortage of people who are willing to work for cooley wages.

It's difficult but not that difficult.

Immigration to Canada is based on a points system, whereby the applicant gets points depending on their qualifications. The more points, the better the chance.
