The Koch Bros. plan to spend more than the GOP spent in 2012. Guess it can be bought.

The Kochs put a price on 2016 889 million - Kenneth P. Vogel - POLITICO

The Koch brothers’ operation intends to spend $889 million in the run-up to the 2016 elections — a historic sum that in many ways would mark Charles and David Koch and their fellow conservative megadonors as more powerful than the official Republican Party.

The figure, which more than doubles the amount spent by the Republican National Committee during the last presidential election cycle, prompted cheers from some in the GOP who are looking for all the help they can get headed into a potentially tough 2016 election landscape.

All the Dems will need do is remind voters how two people are trying to buy the election, over and over again. At some point, voters will get it and there will be a backlash.

Notice people don't seem to worry over the Unions, George Soros, etc buying the Democrat party. It's always the KOCH brothers, the Koch brothers. The new boogeyman for the left

The Dems had a billion last election, thank GOD the right has some financial backers. We will need more that the Koch's though because the Democrats NEED this one. Bad.

Actually repeating the same crap over and over again was part of the reason Dems got their asses handed to them in 2014.

No amount of money will put a Republican in the White House. The blatant ignorance of the Left has infested too many gullible minds in this country.

Unfortunately . You could be right

they put in a man like Obama. we are so screwed.

The Koch brothers are not conservative. They are not republican. They are libertarians who just happen to disagree with the destruction the left is leading us to.

Let them sink as much money as they possibly can into it. Their loss.

I think the Koch Brothers are looking to raise $900MM from others, they'll probably match whatever is raised

Still fuzzy on why when running for elections you're not allowed to use your own money. If the concern was only the rich would then win elections someone explain to me how the system we have where only suck-ups and whores win sucking rich donor dicks is better? :) Isn't a rich independent politician better for their constiuents than one beholden to donors?
