The Islamophobic Episode Of '24: Legacy' After The Super Bowl Was Unacceptable | The Huffington Post
What do you think?
Should TV shows NOT portray Muslims as terrorists because it might upset Muslims?
The Huffington Post does not mention other stereotypes in the show:
The black hero Army Ranger veteran used to work for his drug dealer brother. I mean, of course, since he's black he has a criminal background.
The Hispanic Presidential candidate speaks Spanish with his uncle. Of course.
The veteran who has PTSD and is homeless, believes in conspiracy theories that the government is out to get him. That's another well-worn stereotype that all our veterans are dangerous crazy people.
But Huffington Post ignores all these stereotypes and focuses on ONE, the negative portrayal of Muslims in the show as terrorists.
