The is now for Dual release of Movies. Theatre and Home release.

Given the Aurora Colorado shooting, the time has come for Movie companies to offer
the choice of Dual realease of Movies.

Allow for the public to download movies from a netflix like system, to their HDTV, or
playstion system, in the privacy of the home. And still give the public a choice to go to the movies if they so choose.

I do belive the movie companies were working on a format to allow dual release

Distributors already have that choice. Some even exercise it. Some distributors don't even bother releasing movies into theaters anymore.
