In "Taxation Without Representation: The Illegal IRS Rule to Expand Tax Credits Under the PPACA," Jonathan Adler and Michael Cannon describe what the Obama administration is up to: "The plain text of the Act only authorizes premium-assistance tax credits and cost-sharing subsidies for those who purchase plans on state-run exchanges, and the IRS rule's attempt to offer them to other individuals cannot be legally justifiedÂ…" Adler and Cannon go on to outline the scope of this latest example of skullduggery by Obama's apparatchiks: "[T]he IRS is attempting to create two entitlements not authorized by Congress, and in the process, to tax employers whom Congress did not authorize the agency to tax."

good article. there are going to be law suits for a hundred years. Too bad the democrats passed a bill they had not read. A very shoddy way of doing business.

So, you're outraged that the IRS is going to "illegally" charge people less in taxes?

One, I do believe Romney is our next president and republicans will take control of the senate, obamacare will be repealed.

Two, short of a full repeal, it will be defunded and wither and die on the vine to be nothing more than a foot note in history.

Three, with every passing month it is becoming more and more evident that unless something is done with this democrat abortion of a health care take over, it will bankrupt our country.

Gee... these "debates" end really fast when no one is allowed to troll, call names or derail the thread.

This thread is a focus on the ILLEGAL activities of the IRS. All other conversations should be moved elsewhere.

We're going to wind up in the SCOTUS yet again, but a different result this time!

Looks like the IRS got caught playing Pavlovian Response with other peoples money, again, and again, and again.
