The irony about Obamacare and "we have insurance so good we can't afford to use it"

is welcome to the party. I don't know anyone with, or who had before Obamacare, insurance they could afford to pay the copays and deductibles to really use unless they had some serious accident or injury that left them with absolutely no choice but to take on debt to get care.

Obamacare at its worst made people who had essentially worthless policies for anything but major medical buy more expensive polcies that were ... wait for it .... worthless for anything but major medical. The one difference is that before Trump, you got prevenative care without any co-pay or deductible. Now you don't get that.

The social problem with Obamacare is that it expanded Medicaid to workers 130% over Pov Rate. So, it divided lower earners on an arbitrary line as to who got HC without copay and deductible and who got the shaft.

And Trump didn't touch the Medicaid expansion. So poorer red states get fucked twice, but that was probably Trump's point - fuck the gop congress

your private insurance did the same BEFORE Obamacare. However, your misconceptions (-: about insurance are not defenses for Obamacare's social and political miscalculations
