Lies on top of lies, that's the CON$ervative way. The banner was made by the White House staff and hung by the White House staff. And Bush did declare "Mission Accomplished."
Oh, you mean that media fabricated story of Bush declaring "mission accomplished" when in fact he never said that. The banner behind him during that speech was put up by the Commander of the ship telling their crew that their 10-month deployment mission was over.
"America sent you on a mission to remove a grave threat and to liberate an oppressed people, and that mission has been accomplished."
