For much of the last century, cultural Elites were firm believers in the science of Eugenics. Intelligent, successful, handsome people were encouraged to intermarry, have lots of kids, to spread the "genetic wealth" and make the world a better place.

Poor people, minorities, those with below-average intelligence were "helped" with "family planning," which is a euphemism for helping them NOT to have kids. Planned Parenthood was founded on the science of eugenics.

Scientifically, the concept of Eugenics is unimpeachable. Morally, it has been deemed to be reprehensible. We are often reminded that "you can't breed humans." But of course you can.

The current societal makeup is resulting in the breeding of a relatively small population of highly intelligent children, while at the same time breeding a population of [for lack of a better term] "sub-standard" children.

On the one hand, the culture discourages elite, success-thriving people from marrying early and having children in their early 20's. 50-80 years ago, a brilliant engineer, lawyer, or scientist would marry his high school sweetheart, who was likely to be of average intelligence. Their children would, on the whole, be of above average intelligence. But now that same brilliant person will delay marriage approximately a decade, and marry a professional colleague, who is of equal brilliance and accomplishment. The result is children who have the multiple advantages of a superior gene pool, material wealth, and parental maturity. They will go to elite public or private schools, be tutored wherever necessary, get professional coaching in their "hobbies," and never have to endure the vagaries of having young parents who make mistakes here and there, despite having the best intentions. They will be a super race of adults when they get there.

On the other side, we have 40% of today's children being born to single mothers, where both mothers and fathers are of average-to-far-below average intelligence. They lack the resources to provide a stable and healthy home life, and they have no option but to send their kids to failing public schools. The kids will be limited to those extracurricular activities that are available for free, or in most cases, nothing but street life for entertainment and acculturation.

While the "inequality" meme is one that I find nauseating, we are witnessing the birth of genetic and cultural inequality on an unprecedented scale. The children of the elites and the children of the Street People are truly growing up in two vastly different worlds, with results that one can only fear. Can a major civil war of some type be avoided?
