It was the best of the books and it seems that Peter Jackson is the master of all things Hobbit.

Very well done, fast paced and beautifully shot.

Am I the only one who never read a LOTR or Hobbit book, nor seen any of the movies?

I've not read the books but have seen the LOTR flicks many times.

I had a few minor complaints about it.

They added Radagast the Brown (doesn't appear in the Hobbit book), made him too goofy, and they relied too much on CGI.

Aside from that, I'll go the others when they come out, and I'll probably go see this one again.

The trailer looked a tad slapstick but I'll give it a chance.
