Earth's habitable time is probably 2/3rds up, the sun is due to start expanding.

Ive been saying this all along.

The planet will outlast people and then it will be swallowed up by the sun as it expands.

All the climate summits and taxes in the universe won't stop it. Recycling your bottles won't stop it. Compact fluorescents won't stop it.

So,live a little.

I'll be long dead when it happens. Maybe that's what the joke is supposed to be. The sun is going to expand and get so hot that it frys everything on Earth like a piece of bacon. Don't believe in my "dead as a doornail" condition that I will care very much...
