Just when the moderate GOP were being called useless, appeasing turds, now we find ourselves depending on them to save the USSC from Hussein's treachery. And the "maverick" Trump/Cruz crowd should man up enough to admit it. They will also be what defeats whichever socialist cretin the Rat party trots out to face the GOP survivor in November. And while I'm at it, I'm reminding our lost lambs that it wasn't capitulation that kept the GOP from shutting down the government over this last budget; it was a calculated gamble. The lapdog media was locked and loaded for a shutdown that never came. And instead of having to defend the GOP candidate from that, the coffers still hold the money and influence to use when it counts; to retake the White House.

Yeah I am certain they're going to do that--BUT it will backfire on them. Hillary Clinton is already out there campaigning on the Obstructionist party.

A lot of people think that they're going to get another Scalia--they won't. He was appointed in 1986, and you're just not going to get someone that conservative in this day & age. Democrats in the Senate would never vote for him. So you're going to get another John Roberts--(middle of the road) judge--regardless of who is sitting in the Oval office.

While Roberts disappointed us on the Barry-Care fiasco, he's been a decent Justice on other matters. I agree we may never see another Scalia, but then we didn't know who he was when first appointed either. I don't see how keeping the Kenyan from recess-appointing a leftist judge can backfire....He's already appointed two Justices so we know what ilk he'd choose from. And remember, a recess-appointment is just that. A Supreme must eventually be confirmed by the Senate so anybody he sticks in there is only temporary.

Stacking it? You mean like Republicans did?

Keeping the president from doing what he was elected to do by the majority of the American people?

How very patriotic.

I would prefer an independent minded Justice as opposed to a Liberal but Obama is STILL President for 11 more months despite anybody's opinion of his leadership.
