WASHINGTON - Almost three in 10 Americans say they have donated to victims of the tsunami in Southeast Asia, according to an Associated Press poll taken as the private total begins to approach the amount given by the government.

Full helmets like that are tough to get on and off quickly, especially if you wear glasses. It is more likely in the name of expediency and need he kept the helmet on to get the food his family needed.

Not even sure what you are saying here. We gave plenty. Its nice to see some other countries are giving some now. But throwing money at the situation isnt going to fix the problem. it cant hurt but it doesnt fix the problem. This is the biggest problem I see with the liberal view. they dont seem to understand that throwing money and giving to it hurts doesnt necessarily fix anything. it might make is feel good but we should be focused more on results then dollar amounts.

I am deffinately proud of what this country has done and the speed at which we have done it.
