The Future of America ..?

From 1964........how prophetic.......

There you have it Chumpy….

I know more than you and you shy away from debating me.......bring some game. Hell, we can even start our own thread where it is just me and you debating and discussing. I have 100 percent faith backed by irrefutable facts that would stand up in even an admiralty court....what say ye? We can let the masses decide on which one of us makes the better case.

Not true.

The mess created by the baby boomers (the bump in the snake) is coming to a head now as they retire and/or die off.

They are forced to sell their homes.

There will be lots of old real estate on the auction blocks real soon.

The boomers will want to sell off and move away.

Everything fixes itself economically eventually.

What "mess" did the baby boomers create? Or should I say baby boomers that ended up not being Fabian socialists? I could write a fucking book about the things you have no fucking clue about and especially when it comes to the economy and the mechanisms and hidden strings behind it. I just HAVE to ask this question.....why do you post here???? You don't understand anything about what is going on....you are simply a pom-pom waving leftard sheeple...uninformed, but yet so opinionated to the point that those of us that ARE informed just roll our eyes at you.....just sayin'.

I had to look this up, obviously, you could teach me more as well... Thanks.

The Fabian Society is a British socialist organisation whose purpose is to advance the principles of Democratic Socialism via gradualist and reformist effort in democracies, rather than by revolutionary overthrow.

Yeah, Chumpy…he could teach you all sorts of things. He solved what happened on 9/11…just ask him.

PS: Invents in Reynolds Aluminum stock before you do.

Chumpy...!

well, that's a first...

time for a cornball cartoon..

How can you tell which one is the father? He's the pop-corn.

If you look up their logo, it is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Fabian socialists do their dirty work from the inside. What is unbeknownst to them is that they are simply doing the bidding of the globalist elites....they are the "useful idiots".
And yet, the greatest promoters of the globalist neoliberal agenda were conservatives. Reagan, Thatcher and their hordes of devoted followers are the ultimate in useful idiocy. But you already knew that.

The US already has too many houses. these old properties will be more urban decay.

Housing is swallowing future security for far too many. I lived in the Silicon Valley at the start of the boom, great for me and others that invested but not so hot for the many working class Americans that couldn't or didn't..

Then they should move to Detroit where houses are falling down and fix them up. Ownership only is slightly more expensive than renting for most Americans and American housing is relatively cheap compared to the cost of housing in most first world countries. Just google around Canada or the UK and see what houses are going for compared to what you get for the money. Silicon Valley housing does not represent the American housing market. The fundamental problem with housing is that prices are based on them as investments and not based on them at their utility value. When a lender loans you money, they are looking at them at investment level in case they have to foreclose. In addition, people want houses that do not require any additional investment, so they want newer houses. The old houses then start to lose value because of lack of maintenance/demand which throws them into the rental markets where landlords continue to not update them and they continue to decline in value. It is why in a great many cities you will see that the areas that are now bad areas used to be good areas at some point in the city's history. It is how the market sheds excess supply.

I figure my selfish generation (with exceptions ..:eusa_wall:), the Baby Boomers (1946-1964) have pretty well screwed it up for the succeeding generations and the inevitable moral and economic collapse is becoming clearer by the day.

No worries for me though, it's been great and I'll be fine .. I do feel sorry for the youngsters though, oh well...:eusa_doh:
You could do something stupid and not try to be such a greedy little piggy..
