We live in a litigious society and lawyers will represent both "good" and "bad" causes in their lives. It's the nature of the beast.
The ACLU also defended Limbaugh's right to privacy and his medical records after we all learned he was hooked to narcs.
I've yet to see that fat bastard thank them though.
