So, I got the voting record for the immigration vote earlier today straight from the U.S. Senate web site. link

The following people are traitors to this country and should be thrown in jail for not only endorsing a foreign invasion of this country but attempting to hide it from the citizens of this country.

If you are represented by anybody in the first or third catagories, write them, e-mail them, kick down their doors, or do whatever you have to do to let them know that this is these are their last terms in office, and that you will make it your personal mission to make sure none of them ever so much as holds a seat on the city water conservation board of a one street town.

Having trouble finding yours? At the link above, you can find them listed by state, as well.

Never voted once for Specter. I knew what he was all along. He is a Liberal in conservative clothing. Thank god for Santorum. He's getting ripped by the media mainly because he's so true blue conservative it makes them sick but without him, PA would be an extension of New England.

It seems this song is relevant to the situation.

Tell me again, why did we vote these people in?

We don't get fooled again.... by The Who

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
No, no!

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
Though I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do ya?

There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Are now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

both of my senators sold me out.......Murkowski and Stevens..............................'

We voted them in because the alternative to them was death... not that this is turning out to be much better.

The question was rhetorical... we voted them in because we wanted change... we were tired of business as usual... we were tired of the country being sold out.....

so we voted the rascals in and got more of the same.

The alternative was death ??? Wow.. just wow.. Some of the posters here are either incredibly paranoid or just really really stupid. Yeah the alternative was death. Thats the funniest thing (and most idiotic) I have ever seen on this board. Thanks for the laugh.

Makes it unlawful to knowingly hire, recruit, or refer for a fee an unauthorized alien.

what did you want? all of them to be arrested and deported and a wall built so one else could ever enter?

It gives citizenship to invaders.

It's already unlawful to do any of those things, the laws just aren't enforced.

The wall portion of the bill also requires the consent of the Mexican government.

The only thing this bill changes is giving legitimacy to millions of illegal invaders. It's treasonous.

Did our own ancestors not "invade" this country over the course of the last 200 years?

Doesn't surprise you that youd think that. But facts are facts.

Democrats refuse to stand up and defend ourselves. Republicans definately have their faults but atleast for the most part they are willing to keep us alive. its getting them to do the other stuff they know we need thats the problem.

You may have intended it to be rhetorical, but it's not like you had huge alternatives. Giuliani dropped out of the race when he got cancer, yes? And Rick Laslow was an idiot. Hence Hillary's victory. I don't even remember anyone putting up a viable candidate against Schumer.

We already did that with Salazar... He spoke at his daughter's reticulation ceremony...

He used his daughter as an excuse to avoid the vote...

Already he has bad press in CO. I hope he loses his seat, but it will be 4 years before that'll happen.
