I did envision the day this would come because the VLJ's were designed in a way that would be adaptable to be both car / jet - the VLJ's were selling before for about 1.5 million each. Here is some info on them:

There are many styles but this one gives you the idea that it could be adapted to driving on the road -some of them have the wings going straight back - not to the side -

a cramped 2 seater that's so long you will never find parking, is not a leap forward or anything to brag about.

They'll work out the details - some people do not mind a narrow vehicle. The Elio gets 84 m.p.g. and doesn't fly. It has a weird design but for the mileage it gets - people will find it attractive. This is a 2014 Elio.

If it looks like a plane it's a plane. I would simply design a large 4 propeller drone and attach a port -a potty to it. I would add windows of course!
