Amazing, amazing show. Without a doubt the best show I've ever seen. First of all, the band actually set up their own equipment, which I thought was pretty cool, and they came out and talked to the audience beforehand. The drummer, Kliph Spurlock, seemed to be the most sociable one in the band, but they were all pretty cool.

They played a lot of newer songs, and they covered "Bohemian Rhapsody" (note-perfect, too) and Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" (which was just ridiculously loud, they sounded more like a metal band than whatever they are). Lots of confetti going around, tons of balloons, plus a huge screen projecting really weird videos the whole time. And there were people dresed as aliens on one side of the stage and people dressed as Santa Claus on the other side. The best way I could possibly begin to describe it is as an audio-visual extravaganza.

Everyone should see the Flaming Lips at least once in their life.
