The First Strike to Protect Capitalism

Thanks for sharing, I was pretty sure you wouldn't understand, but the chance was worth the effort. I do agree with a small part of your comment, that being, "I don't think".
You're just a dumb asshole on the internet, pretending otherwise isn't working.

Gee, need a tissue? Seems my observation that you wouldn't understand was spot on. Clearly, calling me or anyone "just a dumb asshole on the internet" as a rebuttal proves my point.

Crusader - he who never served - Frank thanked you for this post, that would make any self respecting person question what they did wrong and try to repair it.

That you can't is clear, convincing and beyond a shadow of a doubt proof that calling others dumb assholes in rebuttal is the work of a person uneducated (beyond the third grade) and at least brainwashed.

Think about it ... oops. Mea culpa, that's like asking an elephant to fly.

I agree with Ice because he's right, Freddo.

We find your "I'm Smart! Not like everybody says -- like dumb! I'm Smart and yer stew pit!" act hilarious

You keep harping on the fact that I didn't serve, OK I was too young for Vietnam then too old for anything after. But, I'll say this, I grew up in the Bronx and went to school in the South Bronx in the mid-70's and probably faced hairer situations that you did during your service. How did you serve anyway

Honorably.

I offer my opinion, you offer echo's of right wing propaganda on EVERY issue. That does not even suggest you are bright, curious or open minded.

I actually read the opinions of others like you, mostly thoughtless iterations of the same old talking points. Anyone who disagrees with the dogma you've been convinced is the absolute truth is rebutted with an idiot-gram and name calling.

I find it noble, but a bit to extreme = a three their system of salary, with no more than a 12% spread between the mail room and the board room seems fair.

Damn, you liberals are stupid. 12%
You must need assistance to breathe.

Why? Tell us, what makes fairness stupid, and what is the risk when income inequality grows and grows?

Fairness?

Is it fair for someone who's worked their ass off to train to earn only a little more than people with no skills at all.

To be honest, if you have no skills, you bummed through school, you never push yourself, why should you get more than what you need to live and a little extra if you're savvy with your money?

If you've ever seen kids in school who knew they wanted to leave school and go work in a supermarket, put no effort in at school, didn't want to put effort in in the real world either, compared to people who work really hard to get what they want to get, then you'd know why they need to earn less than others.

Capitalism works because of the dream. The dream that you can be filthy rich if you do things right, pushes some people to do really well. Recessions help weed out those who failed, or those who couldn't adapt etc.

I don't earn much money. I earn a decent enough wage, more than most people I work with, but I'd like more. However I also want an easy life. Not too easy, not boring, I don't have a boring job, it's challenging enough, but not too much. So, I get a salary that reflects this. Not too much. I'll never be rich, i don't care. I don't spend most of the money I earn anyway.

Honorably. Interesting. So it's far more likely I was closer to actual gunfire than you ever were.

You missed the point. Fairness in opportunity and laws which recognize exploitation lowers the tide for those who have no power.

I was a projectile man in a 5 inch gun. I doubt a zip gun is in the same ball park. BTW, I prefer Citi Park to Yankee Stadium but do like NY pizza. It's almost as good as what we get in San Francisco.

Thank you for your service. My Dad was in the Navy as well

You might find this interesting.

I hate the new Yankee Stadium and I don't know why either, I practically lived at the old stadium. One summer night, my Dad, my brother, 2 neighbors and I were listening to the game and Guidry struck out the side in the top of the first. We made an on the spot decision to go to the stadium and were lucky enough to watch history as Guidry would strike out 18 that night.

I see now why my friend Masquerade left this site, it can bring up the worst in me.

Clearly if that's your point then I'm going to miss it. WHat?

dear, some do it to be rich, some do it to boost our standard of living, some do it to save lives, some do it because it is fun, and some, like Jobs, do it to to be change agents.

Only a simpleton fool would reduce capitalism to a desire to be filthy rich. The great beauty of capitalism is that even in the worst care, wanting to be filthy rich, to get filthy rich you have to sell something that millions of others want to buy!

Do you understand??

I suggest you read a biography of Thomas Edison and see how Capitalism effected him over a lifetime - both positively and negatively in its impact on him and his family, inventions and friend.

100% stupid as always. The issue is not how capitalism effected him but how it effected us by giving us electricity and lights. See why we say the liberal is slow?

You're an asshole, and incredibly ignorant.
