I've written puts on low priced, high dividend stocks with good fundamentals. It's too early to tell but it look like my strategy is working.

not much elaboration to give that you do not already know:

The sources of revenue from stocks are:

selling the stock, dividends and premiums from selling options.

40-60% of total stock value increase is due to reinvested dividends.

buying low and selling high accounts for the rest of the gains.

writing puts provides both revenues and gets you in relatively low.

writing calls provides revenues and gets you out at relative highs.

The problem is execution so I am trying to go with a balanced portfolio of Royalty trusts, REITs, Utilities and transports.

Anything you didn't already know in that plan?

Have ya figgered out a way...

... to pick the winning lottery numbers?

no, but other people have, buy numbers that cannot be birth or social security numbers. There are other bells and whistles that can be added to the mix but you need a much higher tolerance for boredom than I have to do so consistently.
