What troubles me greatly is the wide division in this country politically at this time. It seems to be the worst division that has ever existed between the two parties since 1945. (Baby Boomers - correct me if I'm wrong with when it was worse)

It's just down right hateful. How do we expect to have good governance when our Congress is so divisive? How does it get fixed for the betterment of the American populace?

Where is the GOP today in respect to Eisenhower, Nixon and Goldwater when I was coming into this world? Slightly to the right of them? Slightly to the Left?

Now ask where the DNC is today in regards to Truman, JFK and LBJ? A MILE to the Left.

If Truman, JFK and LBJ were to run today, they would be unelectable by the DNC base and running under the GOP, they would be labeled by the Left are Far Rightwing Radicals.

There's your answer.

I'm with you on Truman and JFK but I think the Father of 'The Great Society' LBJ would have been right at home with the new DemoSocialists.

Fire them all! State by State Elections for new Representatives. 4 States at a time we can be done in a year. ONLY American citizens may vote and all votes submitted must be witnessed by 2 people of opposite political views. Time consuming? Yes! But we don't need to be fast just accurate. Let the wheels of Democracy grind and grind fine! Liberty will be the result
