The era of big government is over

First he isn't one of the worst presidents in history. That would be Jimmy Carter on whose watch most of the problems we are currently having to deal with either came to be or began.

The "conservative cause" turned out to be raping the public, the public "treasury", civil rights, other countries, etc.

Joe Biden is perhaps the biggest neo-con around....and now he's the leader of Obama's foreign policy team!

The only thing worse then Bush woul have been Al Gore or John Kerry. But hey you dumb shits sure pick some losers.

HahahahahaHAHAHAHHhhashahhaahha!

Oh man thanks I needed that one.

You picked the worst President in history and then stood behind him until it was obvious he was a disastor to even the biggest of partisan hacks.

Gore would have been more Clinton which was a hell of alot better than what your party produced.

:lol::lol::lol:

Okay, so what happened to the heartfelt assertions only two months ago, that Obama was a marxist, terrorist-sympathizer who would surrender to the terrorists? Do you Bush supporters not see the exquisite irony here, in your flip flop to saying that Obama has surrounded himself with warhawks and neocons?

Also, this is the first time in my adult life that I've seen members of a political party so thoroughly embarrassed of their party, that they're trying to pass off the failures of bush adminstration, and presumably the 99% of republicans in congress who backed bush to the hilt, as "liberals".

Good times!

It's like watching spiders dancing on a hot skillet, isn't it?

Every fucking thing they thought they knew about their man and their party turned out to be complete and utter B.S.

Now the question is, if the same damned thing happens to the Dems will they be any better?

Frankly, given what I know of partisans, I doubt it.

Fist nitwit I don't think Biden is a neo con. He isn't smart enough to make the cut.

2nd neocons if Bush is any example are big government types anyway.

have the debt and government curved at all since Pelosi and Reid took over Congress?

Pelosi and Reid were in the minority when Medicare Drug, No Child Left Behind, AIDS for Africa, and other Socialist turds sailed through the Congress. 6 years of GOP Pres + GOP Congress saw fed spending increase at nearly twice the rate of 2 years of Dem Pres + Dem Congress in the 90s.

Republicans have lost all credibility on limited government and free markets.

more like the era of big governance is going broke

at this point, it's serious damage control

any 'change' is gonna be change we ain't gonna like

because we've sailed these market highs/lows now for decades merely placing a baindaid on what should have been , by rights, been a serious look at the impending aneurism working it's way up to the big one

which would be the biggest 'bubble' of all, the Fed vs. the deficit

adding to the fun is 2 choices outta 1/3 a billion citizens, that's not a choice, it's a joke, and even if we elected Jesus at this point he'd have to have an ark fulla miracles to pull us outta the dive we're in

so go ahead, blame the RNC, DNC, neo-cons, neo-libs, briteney spears, whomever you think it can stick to and feel good about it because 'bend over patriotism' is about to become vouge in Amer$ca...

they're already well on thier way, 40 odd states are in various levels of fiscal crisis

so hey, i know a lotta people expect a rainbow to appear over the white house 1-21-09, but don't expect that pot o' gold anywhere near it

In which case they'll go broke...

No, in which case we'll go broke.

When the government prints money, and at the same time keeps interest rates low, what happens is inflation at a time when there is no place to invest that is going to have a rate of return greater than inflation. The result of that is a diminution of actual wealth held by individuals.

There is no free lunch. Those billions that the government insists on spending over and above what they collect in taxes has to be paid in one way or another.

The era of big government was over in '96!?!? If only that had been true. The federal budget actually went from 1.7 trillion in '99 to what today? Twice that much? Holy crap! That kind of spending is just not sustainable.

As for Neocons, remember, words have meanings. Misusing them just obfuscates the points the misuser is trying to make.

Neoconservative:

Function: noun
Date: 1952

1 : a former liberal espousing political conservatism
2 : a conservative who advocates the assertive promotion of democracy and United States national interest in international affairs including through military means

You are a fucking intellectual coward, lad.

You don't even have the balls to admit that you were fooled by people who have been (and continue to be) fooling ignoramouses like you for the last 40 years.
