I have to reluctantly disagree Willow. I don't think he's the dumbest president ever. I think he is a very shrewd player and is not stupid about it.

While the jury is still out on where his final placement in the rankings of presidents, I'd say currently he's cruising along at the levels of Buchanan, Johnson(1), Wilson, LBJ and FDR levels as bottom 5 material.

But no, he's not stupid. He is doing precisely what he intends: Destroy the constitution and rebuild America in a progressofascist form. I think his intent is to wreck this nation and foment a civil war which he thinks the left can easily win and thereby institute the People's Republic on this nation. His moves have been outstandingly stupid to those who insist that he has the best interests of the nation at heart. The problem is that he's doing the exact wrong thing EVERYWHERE. This to me means his intent is not in the best interest of this nation. I worried about this from the second he choked on the oath of office at his inauguration like he almost couldn't make himself say it. Too many 'coincidences' have created a pattern of what I can only describe as diabolic nature.

This is why his potential ranking with Buchanan (and really by extension Pierce now that I think about it) is legitimate as presidents who's actions directly resulted in the near destruction of this nation.

If those two issues were reversed, healthcare costs would be an afterthought.

I think your posts sum it up quite well. This is why Republicans must resort to all manner of lies, rumors, and misrepresentations. They have to tear down the man and the administration.
