The Documentary that Donald Trump Tried to Suppress

Dale's just embarrassed because after logging over 200,000 hours of deep, intense "research" about how the world works and stuff, and being the world's smartest man with an IQ that is "infinitely higher" than any of ours, he hasn't seen this documentary and knows nothing about it. He can only do what he knows how to do, which is whine and cry "But Hillary!!!!" in a pathetic attempt to divert attention away from the topic of the thread. Right Dale?

Doesn't matter what is in the documentary since I am not eligible to participate in the joke that is our election in joke that is this country....and make no mistake about it...it is a joke. The corporate officers running this country are a joke and it's citizens are brain dead, stupid and a joke. But carry on, punkinpuss.

Then why are you so desperate to shout down information about said joke for those who are eligible? Why don't you just, I dunno, shut the fuck up? Better yet -- watch it yourself and learn something. Even though I can give you a spoiler ahead of time that there's prolly not gonna be enough dead bodies for your tin hat. It's a bit more subtle.

Dale whines about the doc being irrelevant because he himself is irrelevant ... ironic huh?

Indeed he's already admitted he can't vote since he's not a citizen (Canadian? :dunno: ) ---- yet he goes to all the trouble to shout down other people's info.

Maybe that's why we won't let him become a citizen -- he's a fascist.
Just a guess.

Why don't you try and make me "shut the fuck up"????? Have you a good dental plan? I will post what I wish to write about when the mood strikes me. "Shouting down" information? Too fucking funny being that the leftard clown posse so easily glosses over the crimes of Hitlery, the globalist POS and all around "all-star" crook. Anyone that can look at the trail of dead bodies that have followed the Clintons starting since their days in Arkansas while overlooking the testimony of Clinton insider Larry Nichols has no fucking business worrying about the sins of her opponents.......get it, dumb fuck??

But don't worry, Chumps. They were white, not Mexicans. So it's okay.

Further reading --- supplements to the documentary, part one:

=> Far from that of a self-made billionaire, the image of Trump that emerges from Barrett’s reporting is that of a scion of a wealthy family who got ahead, in large part, thanks to family connections — many of them political. Far from an independent capitalist, Barrett showed, Trump was a businessman who relied heavily on government largesse. “This is a guy whose wealth has been created by political connections,” Barrett says today. And at the time the story was published, even Trump’s political connections came secondhand, through his father. The idea that Trump is a business-world antidote to the world of political entanglement, as he often implies, is “ludicrous,” as Barrett puts it.

The articles described how then-mayor Beame and others at the top of the political establishment bent over backward for Trump to help him develop a property owned by the Penn Central Transportation Company into what was to be a multimillion-dollar convention center. Through hefty tax incentives and guaranteed loans, the city offered the young developer a chance to leverage public risk for his own private profit — without putting up a dollar of his own.

Over the course of Barrett’s reporting, Trump tried to influence the process in various creative ways. He threatened to sue Barrett, of course. But Trump also apparently tried to bribe him, subtly hinting that he could get Barrett a nice apartment in midtown and move him and his wife out of the Brownsville home where they lived. As if they’d somehow arrived there by accident.

.... Beame had known Trump's family for 30 years. They'd eaten the same clubhouse dinners at the same annual dances given by the borough's regulars. Like Beame — and most other pols who came up through the local machines — Fred Trump owed his biggest breaks to the country's party organization. In the beginning, Donald Trump used Beame's closest political associates — publicist Howard Rubinstein; lobbyist, lawyer, and fund raiser Abraham "Bunny" Lindenbaum; and Bunny's son Sandy — now part of a large Manhattan law firm — as the major political brokers on his Manhattan projects. << --- How a Young Donald Rump Forced His Way from Avenue Z to Manhattan

Further reading, Supplement the Second:

=> By the early 1890s, Friedrich had learned English; morphed from a skinny teenager into an adult man with a handlebar moustache; become a naturalized U.S. citizen, an easy matter at a time when there were no immigration quotas (much less debates about “birthright”); changed the spelling of his name to the more American-sounding Frederick; and made his way to Seattle...

A quick study, Trump headed for a prime location, the city’s red-light district, known as the Lava Beds. There he leased a tiny storefront restaurant named the Poodle Dog, which had a kitchen and a bar and advertised “private rooms for ladies”–code for prostitutes. It would allow the resourceful Trump, who renamed it the Dairy Restaurant, to offer the restless, frustrated public some right-now satisfaction in the form of food, booze and easily available sex.

... In 1894, he heard that John D. Rockefeller, the wealthiest man in the world, was bankrolling a mining operation in a small town north of Seattle named Monte Cristo. Without delay, Trump scoped out the best location there, secured it by filing a bogus mineral claim, built a hotel on the parcel even though it didn’t actually belong to him, and began giving the customers, once again, exactly what they wanted: plenty to eat, lots to drink and of course women.

... By June 1900, he was living in White Horse, a Yukon outpost at the end of the newly built railroad but hundreds of miles south of the gold fields, and he was the proprietor of yet another eatery, the Arctic Restaurant. Once again, he had chosen a prime location, across the street from the railroad depot; once again he had built on land for which he did not have a valid legal claim; and once again he was deploying the Trump formula of giving customers still in search of their first nugget something they could enjoy on the spot—a bar, gambling facilities and separate areas, curtained off with dark velvet, for what were known as “sporting ladies.”

... Unlike his grandson, who would become too big to fail in business and, more recently, to ignore in politics, Friedrich Trump was not big enough to get away with being a draft-dodger. He and his wife, then pregnant with Fred, Donald’s father, would not be allowed to resume their German citizenship and it would not be extended to their daughter; instead, they were deported—the same fate that Donald would like to impose on undocumented immigrants in the U.S. today. <=

Ironical story is ironical.

=> In the mid-50s, when he was building apartments financed by New York state, Fred Trump found more loopholes. He set up shell equipment companies and then rented bulldozers and dump trucks from them at inflated prices; he overestimated the cost of construction and pocketed the difference when he came in remarkably far under budget; and when called to account before a state commission, he made the case that his huge profits were not unethical because that was what he was good at and it was the way it should be.

In the 1970s, when Donald came into the family business, these same lessons from his grandfather and father would provide the template for everything he did. He gave his customers not what they thought they wanted but what they actually wanted, buildings that were big and brassy, full of mirrors and shiny surfaces. <=

Say, there's a spot-on description for what he's still doing now. Nailed it.

=> Known for being hands-on with every construction project, he cut costs on Trump Tower by using undocumented Polish demolition workers who were paid an under-the-table $5 an hour and slept on the building site, but he later testified in court that he hadn’t noticed them. When construction was stalled on his first Atlantic City casino, he misrepresented this state of affairs to visiting executives from his partner on the project, Holiday Inns, by directing bulldozer drivers to dig pointless holes and pile up dirt—a subterfuge he later bragged about in his first book, The Art Of The Deal. He kept going through setbacks—divorces, corporate bankruptcies and projects that seemed to have run into stone walls—always spinning a positive scenario in which he was coming out on top and everyone else was left in the dust. And regardless of the circumstances, he insisted that he was a winner, everyone else was a loser, end of story. <= --- The Man (men) who made Donald Rump Who He Is

"For two weeks prior to the Iowa caucus, we ran a documentary on Donald Trump. When it was first supposed to be aired, however, Trump himself quickly shut down the possibilities for the film to run with threats to sue.

“He screamed, and yelled and threatened to sue us,” said Libby Handros, the producer of the documentary, Trump: What’s the Deal?, which was a pilot to a series about businessmen celebrities that was planned to be aired back in the early 1990s. “We couldn’t fight back; people weren’t brave enough.”

The documentary series was meant to expose the era of businessmen celebrities and their true intentions. At the time, the producers heard from distributors that Trump had threatened to sue anyone who broadcast the film. He effectively stopped it from being aired.

“We did however show the film in two back-to-back screenings at the Bridgehampton Community House coincidentally the day that Donald announced his engagement to Marla Maples,” noted Handros.

The documentary was screened in Bridgehampton, against the wishes of Leonard Stern, owner of The Village Voice at the time, who financed a large portion of the project. Stern was trying to stay out of trouble.

After Trump exerted pressure, the team lost its main distributor, making the possibility of airing the film non-existent."

Here it is, all 12 parts.

Part 1:

This is actually a fascinating documentary. Never knew 90% of this stuff. Takes a while to make it through all 12 parts, but it's well worth it.

THANK YOU. I watched this a while back when it was on YouTube. Then when I went to quote from it, it was gone. I wished I had downloaded it while it was still up, but here's another chance --- before it gets suppressed again.

So, I'm to assume you will be first in line to Dinesh D'Sousa's film on Hillary and her theft of America?

I mean, I'm sure you want to get BOTH sides of the story, right?

That's what I thought..... ;)

Can you throw up a link for that? I'd like to see that too.
