Yes it is - perhaps you should check the dictionary definition?

You guys are big on what countries call themselves.

North Korea is the Democratic Republic of North Korea.

In any case..all forms of government are some aspect of Socialism. The only form of government that is not socialist at all is anarchy.

But in this case..North Korea practices an Autocratic form of government. Which, I know, is a little hard to understand.

But it's kind of what Conservatives want to do here. Have a King or a Ruler.

In terms of ideals, very true. Everything a socialist wants, North Korea is not. A backwards xenophobic monarchy where the royal family and a few selected families get everything and the rest of the nation exists to provide them with comforts.
