Well, would you look at that! Folks back in 2007 didn’t think that Senator Obama has what it takes to become President! I wonder what they think about having been persuaded otherwise…

CBS Poll: Lack Of Experience Hurts Obama
More than half of voters (51 percent) think Obama, a first-term U.S. senator from Illinois, does not have the right kind of experience to be a good president, compared with 29 percent who think he does.

On the other hand, 59 percent of voters think Clinton, the former first lady and a two-term senator from New York, has the right experience, while 35 percent think she does not.

Let’s see the difference between good intentions and actual competence to do the job:

Obama unveils $75B mortgage relief plan [February 2009]
Much-anticipated housing plan aims to help as many as 9 million families

PHOENIX - Seeking to tackle “a crisis unlike any we’ve ever known,” President Barack Obama unveiled an ambitious $75 billion plan Wednesday to keep as many as 9 million Americans from losing their homes to foreclosure.
More expensive than expected, Obama’s plan aims to keep between 7 million and 9 million people from foreclosure. Of the nearly 52 million U.S. homeowners with a mortgage, about 13.8 million, or nearly 27 percent, owe more on their mortgage than their house is now worth, according to Moody’s Economy.com.
Headlining Obama’s plan is a $75 billion Homeowner Stability Initiative, which would provide a set of incentives to mortgage lenders in an effort to convince them to help up to 4 million borrowers on the verge of foreclosure. The goal: cut monthly mortgage payments to sustainable levels, defined as no more than 31 percent of a homeowners income. Funding would come from the $700 billion financial industry bailout passed by Congress last fall.

And now-
U.S. Loan Effort Is Seen as Adding to Housing Woes [January 2010]
The Obama administration’s $75 billion program to protect homeowners from foreclosure has been widely pronounced a disappointment, and some economists and real estate experts now contend it has done more harm than good.
Some experts argue the program has impeded economic recovery by delaying a wrenching yet cleansing process through which borrowers give up unaffordable homes and banks fully reckon with their disastrous bets on real estate, enabling money to flow more freely through the financial system.

People change their minds.

And they change their minds again.

I am sort of glad Clinton lost just because she was outwitted by 0bama.

McCain really didn't inspire either. I don't like 0bama one bit, but given the options before the electorate, they made the best of a bad situation.

I can't believe these words are coming out of my keyboard...but I think even Jimmuh Carter wasn't as clueless and dangerous as Obama is.

Let's see, China and India hate him and dissed him at Copenhagen. Then he was treated rather shabbily on his trip to Asia, especially China where they were very offended that Obama bowed to the Emperor of Japan, apparently ignorant of China's history with Japan He insulted Gordon Brown by sending back the bust of Churchill that England had given America as a gift. He ticked off Sarkozy at the UN conference by insisting on waiting 2 days to break the news about Iran's 2nd nuclear facility. Angele Merkel has said she thinks his policies are too socialist.

And one would think he at least endeared himself to the ARab world with that speech and the bowing to the Saudi King. Not really. Of course, he threw Israel under the bus and has continued to create bad blood with our only real ally in the ME. But he hasn't done much better with Egypt and the Saudis, who both told him to leave them alone about the Israel-Palestine problem until he's ready to do something about Iran. But lacking confidence that he would do anything, both have made deals with Israel to give them clearance to overfly their countries if Israel decides to attack Iran.

Just yesterday I read that he has backed off pressing for more sanctions on Iran and now they are giving Obama ultimatums.

All in all, a total foreign policy failure. And don't even get me started on his domestic fiasco.
