The Democratic Party Is Radicalizing

If you want to understand just how radicalized the Democratic Party has become in recent years, look at the ascent of Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. A self-proclaimed socialist, Sanders served as mayor of Burlington, Vermont, and was then elected to the House in 1990 and the Senate in 2006. It’s hard to overstate just how left-wing Sanders’s views have been, at least by the standards of American politics.

Sanders has been a consistent defender of regimes led by anti-American dictators like Daniel Ortega and Fidel Castro. He took pains to separate his brand of socialism from the “totalitarianism” of the Soviet Union, but on a 1988 trip, repeatedly drew contrasts between the Soviet system and the United States that cast his own country in an unfavorable light. In the 1970s, Sanders called for the nationalization of entire industries and 100 percent taxation on those making more than $1 million. Since then, Sanders has moved away from calling for government to own the means of production, but he has hardly experienced a Damascus-road conversion. He is still a proud leftist

God I am so tired of having this discussion. In one breathe dishonest partisan Republicans will say that what the Scandinavian countries are doing is not socialism, which is technically true depending on how you use the label. They are capitalist countries with large welfare states. In the next breathe they will call Bernie and other Democrats socialists/communists for wanting to do the exact same thing the Scandinavian countries do. If you actually pay attention to Bernie's platform there is nothing he wants that they're not already doing in Scandinavia. If he is a true socialist then so are they. If he's not then neither are they. You can't have it both ways. Bernie is not advocating for the destruction of the private sector and for the government to seize and control everything.

Hitler revitalized Germany's failing economy in just a few short years. It was actually rather miraculous. The problem was his blood lust and hate for anybody that wasn't German. His economic strategy worked beautifully. Either way there is still a confusion with labels here that I think is intentional. Republicans call safety nets in a capitalist nation socialism. Then when the left finally just decides to own that word after decades of being attacked with it you suggest they're the same as Hitler. Y'all either have no shame or you're just ignorant.

Thats bullshit. The average German could barely eat and could not buy car. Yes, he lifted them out of the crushing disaster of the worldwide depression, but only nominally so. He brought them from devastation to barely tolerable. That is far from miraculous.

NAZI = Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
or, "National Socialist German Workers’ Party"

Funny, I don’t see a lot of Germans in the Republican Party but I see plenty of Socialists in the Democrat Party.
In fact, not only do I see plenty of Socialists in the Democrat Party, but I see plenty of Socialists in the Democrat Party who want to be able to murder an entire class of people (abortion) just like Hitler did, and who violently attack people in the streets who disagree with them, just like Hitler did. Plus, I see plenty of Socialists in the Democrat Party who want to teach junk science about the human race (transgenderism) just like Hitler did. AND NOW their antisemitism has also percolated to the top in recent months.

As was recently noted in another thread NAZI's have taken controll of the Democratic party !!! Demonazi's !! :
  • Democrats are no different from Nazis from their strong arm tactics, to their roving blackshirts in the streets, to their murder of millions of innocent people in Planned Butcherhood death camps, to their embracing of socialism (Hitler always spoke of national socialism), to their willingness to squash free speech and other rights, and to their embracing of junk science on human beings (like transgenderism), the Democrats are EXACTLY like Nazis.
There is no denying the sameness of Democrats and Nazis. We deny it at our own peril, just as the Germans did

he lifted them out of the crushing disaster of the worldwide depression

True. A depression tied to which economic system by the way?

only nominally so. He brought them from devastation to barely tolerable.

A debatable and subjective statement. Germany became a powerhouse and crushed everybody around them until they fucked up big time and tried to invade Russia. If that decision hadn't been made he very possibly would have won or wouldn't have been stopped for a much longer time. If he had found a way to ally with Russia against capitalist nations instead of going to war with them we might be living in a very different world today.

Look at you go, OP! Keep shotgunning that propaganda. Something will stick. Lefties evil! Right must save the world!

Poor Howard, exiled for telling the truth back in January

Howard Schultz is calling Democrats out for how radical their party has become
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...1990fc-256c-11e9-90cd-dedb0c92dc17_story.html

Democrats are furious at former Starbucks chief executive Howard Schultz for announcing that he may launch an independent campaign for president. They fear he will split the anti-Trump opposition and help reelect the president. But what angers them even more is that Schultz is calling Democrats out for how radical their party has become.

When Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) recently floated her new wealth tax, Schultz called it “ridiculous.” When Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) said we should “eliminate” private health insurance, Schultz said, “That’s not American.” When Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) proposed a 70 percent marginal tax rate, Schultz dismissed it, saying “I don’t think we want a 70 percent income tax in America.” Indeed, Schultz has ripped the entire Democratic socialist agenda, declaring “Free Medicare-for-all, government-paid free college for all — first of all, there’s no free. I mean nothing is free.”

No wonder Democrats are fuming. Instead of debating Republicans, they may spend the next two years fighting a liberal independent who is slamming their far-left policies.

Communist Party, USA praises Democrats' policy shifts ahead of centennial celebration
Communist Party, USA praises Democrats’ policy shifts ahead of centennial celebration

The Communist Party of the USA will celebrate its 100th birthday this weekend in Chicago, at a conference replete with questions about what the future holds for the organization when national Democrats already embrace some of its most coveted goals.

The talk in the run-up to the conference includes questions on whether Communists should embrace Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal proposal — a resounding “yes” — and whether China finally has succeeded with the socialist experiment.

Once in town, party members will vote on resolutions on expanding voting rights, legalizing illegal immigrants and opposing Republicans in the 2020 elections — largely echoing what one might hear at a Democrat-led press conference on Capitol Hill nowadays.

“There’s some thinking that ‘communism’ has always been a sort of bogeyman, and yet we want some of the same things,” said Harvey Klehr, a history professor at Emory College who specializes in the American left.

The connections between the Communists and the increasingly active Democratic left wing have been highlighted by Ms. Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernard Sanders, who emerged from the democratic socialist movement to become leading critics of capitalism and guiding lights of the broader Democratic Party

I'm still waiting for coherent responses to the posts you avoided.

I have a life you dickless fuck. I don't live to sit here and respond to everyone of your stupidities.

The OP stands as FACT: The Democrat Party has radicalized. Until you prove that wrong you can fuck off
