How about saying something like "We have to pass it to find out what's in it" and pretending that it wasn't your job to read the damn bill before voting for it. The left, especially the left in politics should not be preaching anything about morals or values, they have none, and have even less character to speak of.

Frankly, I think the right made a mistake going after Weiner. The left did not go after Vitter and mostly left whatever was going to happen to his own party. But by jumping into this they have now left themselves open for the left to do the same thing right back. Because of course, something like this is going to happen again. They should have just clutched their pearls and kept their mouths shut, because I guarantee it's going to happen again.

Here is the Amazing part about all of this. Since the first scandal Republicans and Democrats both have have super majorities numerous times, and both have had their scandals. Why haven't rules been put into place just for this type of infraction. Why haven't we, the voting public, demanded reprecussions.
