As far as that traitor bastard causing massive unemployment, we had a localized effect, he all but destroyed the oilfields in Texas, and many small companies defaulted on bank loans when they couldn't sell their oil for a profit. Back then the prisons had more people working for then then they needed and most of them from the oil fields. Now that Trump is in and oil business is back the prisons can't find people to work.
