The defect of the (parasite) progressive's thinking on Corporations

I would rather choke to death on the smoke of industry than drown in the feculent cesspool of government teat-sucking liberal pigs.

Another CON$ervoFascist SLACKER insanely jealous of the fact that Liberals on the average EARN more than lazy CON$.

I got a better idea, since Obama refers to his revolution as "progressive" in every speech he makes, prove HIM wrong and name three things he has done or wants to do that go to far for "progressives."

The wealth of corporations is unparallelled, except perhaps, some governments. For the (parasite) progressive, it's the goose that lays the golden egg. Profits mean tax revenue, contributions to "infrastructure" that would be unachievable without the voluntary collectivism of the corporation, yielding far more wealth than its parts alone.

But the (parasite) progressive wants to kill corporations? Why?

Only reason I can think of is they think they can replace the abundance of the voluntary collectivism of the corporation with their own, failed compusory collectivism.

They hate them because they work.
You gotta just love CON$ervoFascist "logic." 2/3 of corporations pay no taxes but it's the progressives who are the parasites. :cuckoo:

Most Companies Pay No Federal Income Tax - CBS News

(AP) Two-thirds of U.S. corporations paid no federal income taxes between 1998 and 2005, according to a new report from Congress.

More than 38,000 foreign corporations had no tax liability in 2005 and 1.2 million U.S. companies paid no income tax, the GAO said. Combined, the companies had $2.5 trillion in sales. About 25 percent of the U.S. corporations not paying corporate taxes were considered large corporations, meaning they had at least $250 million in assets or $50 million in receipts.

The GAO said it analyzed data from the Internal Revenue Service, examining samples of corporate returns for the years 1998 through 2005. For 2005, for example, it reviewed 110,003 tax returns from among more than 1.2 million corporations doing business in the U.S.

Go waste time in someone else's thread droning on about a party that has been out of Congress for four years and out of the White House two years.
Bush and his GOP congress passed ADDI in Dec of 2003. Bank loans to unqualified people became out of control from 2004 on as a result. Bush and the GOP controlled everything at the critical time, you just can't face reality.

The last two years of the Bush Administration, the Senate was 49 to 49.

Add the filibuster and the Republican Party was hardly "out of power".

Does everything have to be explained?

Snowe, Collins, and Lieberman were caucusing with Democrats whenever Democrats needed them.

What got filibustered?

Really? "The people" just pull heavy machinery, raw materials, and supercomputers out of their back pockets and work?

Then they collect from the customers, pay the taxes and utilities, the health insurance, and keep what's left?

No need for anyone else?

Snowe and Collins NEVER caucused with the Democrats, try a new lie.

Almost everything got filibustered by the GOP.

GOP Filibuster Record: Republicans Using Obstruction Tool With Astonishing Frequency

The frequency of filibusters – plus threats to use them – are measured by the number of times the upper chamber votes on cloture. Such votes test the majority's ability to hold together 60 members to break a filibuster.

In the 110th Congress of 2007-2008, with Republicans in the minority, there were a record 112 cloture votes. In the current session of Congress – the 111th – for all of 2009 and the first two months of 2010 the number already exceeds 40. The most the filibuster has been used when Democrats were in the minority was 58 times in the 106th Congress of 1999-2000.

Sorry, my friend, you are wrong.

It was the banks on Wall Street that ran a $512 TRILLION DOLLAR derivative Ponzi scheme, not the people.

Those jackass Republicans didnt have the balls to actually "fillibuster" anything!

A "real" filibuster is a knock down drag out fight till the end.... those pussies rolled over and the dems scratched their collective bellies.

Thats why the next several election cycles are crucial to the survival of America as a super power. We have absolutely got to get rid of all the fiscally liberal republicans and replace them with actual conservatives.

Say what you want libs, but your policies are failures and we are witnessing the results of them now.

With securitized (worthless) mortgages government backed.

Not quite sure what you are saying here. What contributions to infrastructure? Are you saying they donate money to fix transportation, etc.? What wealth and what parts alone?

So what?

It was the corporations on Wall Street that stole the money. And they knew exactly what they were doing.

Likewise Reagan and the two Bushes created 93% of the National Debt by lowering taxes for the rich.

So our two biggest problems, the economic collapse and the National Debt are the direct result of corporate lobbyists and the tax cut and spend policies of Reagan and the two Bushes.
