The cons (conservatives) are outraged because they claim the President should call Congress in from their August break (fundraising ;-) and compromise on something. Riiight. Boehner & Co have done nothing up to this point. Why should they do anything now? All they've had is "show-votes" since they got elected. The President did the right thing.
