The Creation of a fake news story about Climate Change Protesters

You didn’t read the op and it’s links at all did you?
Of course I did...so they didn't leave a mess behind this time but they historically have...I'm saying the people loud enough and gullible enough to think climate change is a crises are hypocrites...they worry about something they can't see taste or smell and hopscotch over the visible mess in their own yard...they are engulfed in a form of religion and getting their way is the top of the list not saving the planet...that global march was a joke....a bunch of people afraid that chicken little/climate scientist are right and they haven't proved anything yet if ever....

Socialism has nothing to do with climate change whereas private enterprise has everything to do with it.

The government regulates business especially if they are destroying the ecosystem and causing health problems. This is in order to have a world for our children in the future

Most businesses do not care,as it is all about making a profit now

It is up to the government to reign them in and thing about the future

example - lead is know to cause problems for human health with lead poisoning

If the government did not step in and force businesses to remove it from gas and paint then the capitalist would just keep on using it and deny that it cause problems.

If the government did not step in an mandate better fuel economy and the results is it has saved the consumer money and forced automotive makers to make better cars and improved the air we breath. Also forces then to look for new technology that make the car more safer and now they can almost drive themselves.

The government sets standards for CO2 and yes the level of CO2 has risen and that is measurable. It would be expected to rise since the population has gone thru the roof

It took over 200,000 years for man to reach 1 billion people. It took then only 200 years to reach 7 billion. It will keep on increasing and man does effect his environment

The situation in New Orleans a few years ago with the flooding. Man thought he could dig canals and reclaim land below sea level. Well it work for a while until they failed and people died and the cost was 125 billion

Most scientist accept climate change, it is obvious from the increase CO2 levels.

They may not fully understand it but in the end

It is better to be cautions than it is to throw caution to the wind

To make it an economic issue is like businesses using child labor years ago because its convenient

Businesses used children and age was not a barrier until the government finally step in

Yes man can fix it by using alternative energy.

Once again the Earth is a giant Sphere (~8Kmi dia, ~25Kcircumfrence, Internally as hot as the Sun...10KdegC) spinning thru space. Several Ice Ages came and went before man. Man has little effect. Solar flares, wobble in orbit.....no real proof ever shown that Man driving a SUV causes Temp increases. There were Glaciers into the American South before the F150. Common sense says a campfire on the surface has zero effect. I rest my case.

Agreed, Nice to be clean and sensible, but how they scare these Children to gain power is Child abuse.

Which has nothing to do with the OP....did ever get around to reading it? A lot of people seem triggered when they see the words “climate change” and are unable to progress any further in reading the actual topic.

I was responding to a confused post about phony Climate Chang (aka Global Warming). The newly titled Red Fag list blew up today and you are a member. I would move you to #1 but dumb Lakota takes that honor.

I will add ghey ABikerSailor & CowboyTed for past annoyances as you pushed me to it.

Again, you should be Jailed for Child Abuse scaring Children w/o facts.

Dude, I put this in media for a reason. Because the OP is NOT about Climate Change. You loons are so triggered you didn't even read it!

When news outlets choose sides which is what has occurred here they are no longer a news agency and should not be protected under the first amendment....if they libel a person they should be held accountable if they lie it should be exposed immediately...the people have a right to the truth...

most "news" sites these days cater to their audience and like you say - you are no longer news but entertainment at that point.

I dont think thst is comparable. For one, it is clearly an artistic rendition, no question, and it is making a statement on the effects of Trumps policies which are probably covered in an article inside. It isnt exactly original, Norman Rockwell emoyed a similar mechanism of relative size and authority when he painted his painting of guards rscorting a little black girl to school. Yes that is news and legitimate journalism.

The OP showed a photograph taken from one event, the group posting it falsely claimed it was from another event and then went on too falsely clain they cleaned up.

What would be comparable would be when groups circulated a picture of children in cages, taken during the huge onflux of unaccompanied minors during the Obama administration, and falsely claimed it was from Trump's.

except the left went nuts saying this was a prime example of parents being separated from kids. if this was such a common issue, then find that pic and post it. i was a journalistic photographer working my way through college and beyond. as far as i'm concerned, it comes back to manufacturing news cause you can't find what you're "mad" at.

how abou AOC crying in front of a fence with no one behind it she's supposed to be crying for?

I am not sure I understand what you are getting at with the Time cover, the picture is of a genuine migrant child, the cover is symbolic of the events. Nothing manufactured. Unlike the kids in cages example I gave or the OP.

If the symbol of the times is children being taken from their parents, then find one, don't create one.

If you can't find one then maybe it wasn't the issue it was portrayed to be.

Ok, I see what you are are saying, just don’t agree since the cover isn’t a literal representation anyway.

i get picky when you say you're reporting the news and esp since the left went so crazy on how horrible it was. i understand what you're saying also and do realize i *am* being picky but it's the traditional journalist in me.
