Forget the Democratic spin. Forget the Republican spin. The country is BROKE. It doesn't take a genius to know that we can't continue to borrow money from overseas lenders to pay for our continued fiscal mismanagement from the President, Congress and anybody else that has check writing powers within our government. It's time to tighten up the pursestrings and begin to act like we have some brains. The big game right now is to blame one political party or the other, one President or the other, or anybody that can accept a finger being pointed at them for our sorry financial mess. Isn't it about time for both of the political parties and the President to open their eyes and quit playing politics and fix the damned way the government spends money it doesn't have? It's time to scrap all of the government giveaway programs and stop the endless showering of money onto foreign countries in the form of aid and start fixing our own mess. When is enough enough?

Well that really isn't enough to fix the problem, now is it?

Seriously, do look at the budget and get back to us once you understand where and how the money is being spent.

It sure as hell isn't going to welfare for the poor, lad.
