This country is what we make of it. If we sit around complaining about laws while sinning our life away, things will not change. If we want the power of God in our nation we have to start by cleansing our own lives.

It's time for us for stop being proud and humble ourselves before our maker and sincerely repent of our sins. We need to pray for and seek out charity. when we truly put our faith in christ and repent, we.Will get the Holy Spirit.and.become godly. That is when the power of God will be in our lives.

God hasn't fucked over Israel yet. Have had gay rights longer than we have and more urgent imminent threats to their survival as a nation. If God got pissed at countries over gay issues, you'd think He'd have let Israel be destroyed by now.

I also want to say that I believe some of this country and the people are becoming more righteous and holy. Another portion and the government is becoming corrupt and wicked.

We choose which part we belong to as we make choices everyday

If gay marriage proves to be a big problem, and people oppose it, an amendment can be passed to define marriage.

In the meantime, does it really matter much?

Instead of fretting over gay marriage, get ready for plural marriage.

Yes--and it is amusing to watch government frantically running around trying to keep up with public opinion, and noting behind the scene string-pulling of the public--and those string-pullers laughing at all the puppets so easily manipulated.
