Many actors, athletes and entertainers who are past their primes now have a new role in Liberal activism. Madonna, Ashley Judd, Whoopie, Charlie Sheen, Leena Dunham, Chelsea Handler, Kaepernick, etc. the list goes on. Given the fact that these people by the nature of their profession crave the spotlight, it is evident that they are desperate to have it again. Liberalism and it's media provides a new avenue for these has-beens to again have the cameras pointed at them. Is that what it is? Pure need for attention? Getting invitations to better parties?

Well, yes, and no. I guess I would define it more as narcissism.
