In southeast Florida last week, first-term GOP Rep. Allen West, a tea party favorite, called for changes that some might consider radical: abolish the Internal Revenue Service and federal income tax; retain tax cuts for billionaires so they won't shut down their charities; stop extending unemployment benefits that "reward bad behavior" by discouraging people from seeking new jobs.
His stance is contradictory, reward billionaires with tax cuts and stop unemployment benefits that "reward" bad behavior, even though he hasn't spelled out exactly what this "bad behavior" is, I wonder, done he think that having billions of dollars equals not having bad behavior and those without jobs symbolize bad behavior? Billionaires don't need "taxcuts" for charities, the taxcuts that West wants to keep for billionaires are a charity itself via the government. Republitards, even the far right, military reject types are big government in their onw dirty way.
