As a good American, I abide by the Constitution. I know it very well and have written many essays on it. I am especially in awe by the foresight our founders had by writing the first amendment. So, How as a nation can we ban a Civil Union between two people due to a religon? If we want the second amendmet to be read strictly, how can we ignore the first one?
