If Chinese are so good why is majority of their population impoverished?

Why are Chinese prisons filled with prisoners who lack any humane rights?

Why do Chinese citizens try and leave mainland China for a democratic country?

Chinese people are as good as their government allows them to be.. If China was so smart they would have been the only super power long ago. Due to the United States winning the technology race and the fact that we have diverse minds to assist this country this would be the core explanation why we don't want an ethnic monopoly of this country.

It makes perfect sense as America is a nation of 300+ million people.

So 3+20 =23 million Chinese +- isn't going to make it a monolpy. In fact we will be a nation that is even less ethic of one race.

As the OP stated, the face of America is already changing. If 20 million Chinese immigrants descended upon America, they would not all be absorbed into the American mainstream. See the following older article, however many of the issues pointed out are still relevant.
