The case against marijuana

    ...what is it? I'd really appreciate hearing both sides of the argument, but what I'd really like to understand is what exactly prevents average Americans from supportig legalization and regulation of marijuana (in the same vein as alcohol). I personally support it. What does USMB think and why?

    I'm for legalizing it (and no I don't smoke it-although I have tried it a few times back in highschool and college).

    I think if a person wants to do something to their body, and they're an adult, and it doesn't harm/effect anybody else negatively-they should have every right to do it. Not to mention cigarettes are WAY worse for you than marijuana is, and is way more addicting too.
