THE next Super Bowl is really going to rock. This year, Tom Petty rocked the halftime crowd at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. But Super Bowl XLIII on Feb. 1 in Tampa will feature Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, sources said. "He was just confirmed," a spy added. "Little Stevie (Van Zandt) has already rented out the Hard Rock Café for a party." A Boss rep didn't return calls or e-mails.

uh, yea... the superbowl sure has been better when newer acts like justin timberlake needed a "malfunction" to keep everyone watching. Hey, maybe we can get Maroon 5, 3 doors down and the Jonas Brothers to play sometime!

:puke:

Tom Petty was a solid performance last year. Im cool with the Boss playin the bowl.

It's definitely gotten better since MTV got their faggoty ass hands off the halftime show.

But who watches it anyway? Halftime is for putting more beer on ice, putting more beer DOWN, and replenishing the food.

I mean, you gotta get your ass up off the couch at SOME point.
