GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian Non-Governmental Organisations Network (PNGO Network) confirmed that two boats carrying aid and 27 solidarity activists from various nationalities, set sail towards Gaza.
The organisation said in a statement Wednesday evening that the Canadian Tahrir boat and the Irish Hurreyah boat set sail from a Turkish port and are now sailing in international waters towards the Gaza Strip. The organisation added that there are 27 solidarity activists on board, one of them a Palestinian student from Haifa.
The organisation said that in addition to solidarity, defiance and steadfastness, the two boats carry a message of unity, freedom and hope for the Palestinian people.
