First of all, stupid, the Republicans are very much the minority party. So nothing done by the GOP and nothing left undone by the GOP could have done diddly dog. If your fucking skell Party had a commitment to any of the things you pretend are somehow panaceas, they could have passed them without a worry about the GOP.

Secondly, to the extent the GOP has served as a road-block, speed-bump or as breaks to the plots, plans and stupidity of the Democratics, then it is the GOP who HAS helped making things better for Americans. Preventing as much as possible the damage which the liberals would have otherwise inflicted on America is a blessing.

The President is always responsible for what happens during his administration. He is the one in charge. Even if the events are unforseen, he has a duty to respond and assume responsibility for executing and surviving such obstacles.
