The bizarre liberal ideology

How long would the free market be free, if not protected by government?
How long would the woman be free from rape if not her loins occupied by the rapist to prevent her from being raped by another? :eusa_doh:

(The answer to your absurd question is: infinitely. Government does not exist to interfere with the private sector)

Did the framers make any provisions for the government to be involved in the economy?

Here is the quintessential liberal - Matt Damon - in a video from his commencement speech at M.I.T. crying about "wealth inequality" and whining about "wealthy bankers" - all in an article from CNN about how he is making $26 million per movie (and $1 million per line in a movie). What makes the liberal so extremely irrational? No rational human making making hundreds of millions of dollars per decade would dare have the audacity to stand up and not only claim that "wealth inequality" exists - but then whine about it as well. That is the kind of insanity they we only see from the left.

Did Matt Damon make $1 million a line for 'Bourne'? - CNN.com
This OP is very hypocritical. Don't the Trump supporters make the same excuse for his political campaign donations and tax evasion? He takes advantage of a system and is now campaigning against the corruption in the system that he has taken advantage of for years.

In Matt Damon's case, I don't think the fact that he makes a lot of money disqualifies him from being able to recognize and speak out against wealth inequality as one of our nations problems.

Yeah....uh....how does it not?!? If he's sooooo concerned about the imaginary "wealth inequality" then why does he have such insane wealth amassed? He very easily could have given 99% of what he has to people struggling in the inner cities such as South Central Los Angeles. Furthermore, when each time he was asked to sign a contract for his movies, he could have negotiated it so that he received 80% less and that that money was to all be distributed evenly among the lighting people, the camera people, the makeup people, the costume people, etc.

This Slade is very stupid. I'm not a Trump supporter. I don't condone anything Trump does. For one, he's a life long liberal. So you literally just supported the OP's position about the irrational liberal ideology of condemning their own way of life. Thank you!

Not domestically from the federal level. But lets be honest - when have you ever cared about the framers or the U.S. Constitution?
Well I care about the Constitution that I've read it a few times including Article One Section Eight in which the framers gave a number of powers to the new government regarding the economy.

Yes he could have... Same arguement for Trump, he didn't have to pay to play with politicians or pay close to nothing in taxes... Right?

Do you really think that wealth inequality is imaginary? And not a problem in today's world?

Ah good, then you agree that felons should have the right to not only have guns, but carry them also,,thanks...

So you're claiming that torturing children is a good thing and should be done more often? And you are so glad that Hillary will torture more kids, Thanks.

Exactly! I've been saying that for more than six months now. Tired of hearing RINO's on this board try to explain away his hard core liberalism by claiming it was "business". He donated massive sums of money to Hitlery Clinton and Harry Reid because he's a typical progressive dirt-bag.

There is no such thing as "wealth inequality". There never has been and there never will be (unless we become a socialist nation). It is even more absurd than "Global Warming" and unicorns. The minute I hear someone even mention it, I know I'm dealing with a progressive minion of very limited intellect who was duped into progressive propaganda.

People earn exactly what they are worth. Nothing less. Nothing more. "Wealth Inequality" implies that some centralized force distributes money to the masses. That's simply not the case and even your average child realizes as much.

Perhaps if we were living in the colonial days you would have a good point but in today's world economy the situation is very different. Do the math and study the projections to see what happens when the wealth of a few grows exponentially. These few become
Vacuums that buy up all the businesses, real estate and markets which gives them more power than they should handle. It's why laws were made to try and prevent monopolies and private companies to obtain extraordinary amounts of power. The fair market is not fair when it is dictated and controlled by a handle of private corporations or individuals. They get richer and the poor get poorer and the cycle only gets worse with time and People no longer have a fair opportunity to compete.

  1. Who gets to decide that? You? You decide what constitutes "more power than <someone> should have"?
  2. Funny how concerned you are about average citizens in the free market weilding "more power than they should" but you're thrilled at the thought of representatives in the government weilding unlimited power.

Stay "classy" progressives...

DONALD FUCKING TRUMP. This isn’t a fucking joke. This is REAL. And y’all have the audacity to sit back and say “I won’t vote” or “I’ll vote for Trump” or “I’ll vote for ___________ so & so who isn’t going to become president but it’s cute you voted for them one time because of your principles.” It’s bullshit. And to be frank, how fucking dare you.

I would rather have a group of elected leaders who's job is to serve the general welfare of the public make those decisions over a money/profit motivated private entity. Although there is corruption in the government it still exists to serve us, by leaders elected by us, with a structure that provides representation from all areas of our nation and a system of checks and balances.

Bwahahahaha...maybe if we were living in the colonial days. We've only seen a small percentage of Republican representatives actually "serve" the public and we've only seen an extremely small handful of Democrat representatives actually "serve" the public.
