If tRump is willing to speak what is arguably treason in public at Putin's urging, what did they discuss in private?

With no other american ears present at tRumps insistence what did they talk about?

It’s not arguably treason by any reasonable rational standard. In fact, I’ve been watching CNN and even those loons have said people calling for treason are being absurd.

What he said was incredibly naïve and a very amateur misstep in foreign policy.

More than that. So asinine I had a hard time believing he would actually say those things in that setting.

Obviously not treasonious but it was utterly disgusting to hear.

That is probably a good assessment taz. One thing that struck me about trumps body language when he came out for the press conference is that he did not look happy. And I also think he looked tired. I know he is considered the energizer bunny, but he is 70 years old and has gone through many time changes and granted beaucoup interviews. All the things that they worried trump would do, like recognize Russian Crimea, none of that happened. Trump will have to clean this up for sure.

I've actually been discing this with some friends (who happen to be lawyers, but not criminal lawyers) and they have decided amongst themselves that the case could be made that a defacto state of war exists between us and Russia due to their cyber attacks and that tRump's public exoneration if them in the face of his own intelligence agencies reports could construe aid and comfort to the enemy.

I really wish people on both sides would stop throwing highly serious charges around so loosely I don't care rather it is some on the right talking about the Mueller investigation be treason or an attempted coup or people on the left talking about this being treason when you do this all you do is diminish the meaning of the word.

Do your libtard lawyer friends think cyber sex is real, too?

It was a weak Press Conference, that's the bottom line. They had a lengthy discussion and there are so many pressing issues from Iran to Syria, N Korea, even the pipeline which Trump publicly called out. I imagine for Trump the discussion of any Russian activities was an afterthought, he and everyone knows Putin will just deny it anyways, it could only serve to put the discussions off track and sour the meeting.

Wanting to build closer relations with traditional adversaries, well, that's been something he has said even on the campaign trail in an effort to avoid conflict. I don't know how he does it, but I do know, and I have said for years, China is the big threat. If Trump can build closer relations with Russia and harm the Chinese government in the process, I am all for it if done in a reasonable manner.

The real treason has been the sale of U.S industries and Middle Class to China and other global socialist governments as far as I can see. Righting horrible trade deals and imbalance has to be priority number one.

I think the big question is why you expect anyone to take you seriously, when you talk like a retarded child?

When one star isn't enough....

I think that’s a lot of what this is. I think he wants to continue to build a strong relationship with Russia, so he is reluctant to call them on the carpet on what they’ve done so as to not rock the boat

Trump told the truth . 2014 - the year of Obama / Hillary Treason.

Keep up denying reality, snowflake.

We’re not dimishing the word st all. This was out in the open treason.

Trump called the Mueller Investigation a witch hunt which is destroying relations with Russia, while standing next to Putin. He was like a whipped dog currying favour with his master.

No mention of the Crimea. No mention of the Ukraine. No mention of the poisoning of British Citizens. No mention of Sergei Magnitsky. No mention of interference in the Brexit election, the US elections, or other western democracies. These are the reasons the US has lousy relations with Russia.

At the statements before the private meeting, Trump was fidgeting and uncomfortable. Putin was relaxed and in control. Why did Trump so abase himself to Putin? It was a total capitulation. Why?

Bull fucking shit there is no treason all you numbnuts are trying to do is use the term to score cheap political points that is the very heart of diminishing the word. I find it highly ironic the left manages to find so much to be outraged about over Russia and Trump yet you find none to direct at the administration that was asleep at switch when all this was going on.

Actually they are both republicans but they think tRump is definitely a dumbass and possibly a traitor.

You’re focused on the right topic but you missed on the conclusion.

I sat and listened to an American President, DJT call in to question the integrity of a branch of the US government in defense of arguably our biggest military enemy. That of course is Putin and Russia. I was disgusted when BO went on his apology tour in his first term, and so were many conservatives. Now Trump, in similar fashion, essential deflects from Russian attempts to interfer with our elections by attacking the FBI et al with regard to crooked Hellary’s illegal server. She is evil, and I believe the FBI acted at least inappropriate, and at worst illegally to shield her. But that’s a family matter, and you don’t side with anybody outside of the family. Shame on you Trump. Sorry fellow conservatives, Trump screwed the pooch today.

Hopefully someday we will be able to control who can call themselves Republicans.
