I think people who always look to fufill end of days prophecy are either bitter at the world or have weak faith and want to completely prove to people that their belief's are correct.

Of course they could be suffering from PMS (power/money/sex), and are using fear (telling you the world is ending) as a way to scare you into their way of believing, so that they can soak you for money.

Kinda like what the early Catholic church did with hell. Also, kinda like what the Bush admin did with 9/11. Scare you bad enough, you'll give money and follow blindly.

Come to think of it, that also describes the current state of the GOP as well. No wonder they think Obama is the anti-Christ.

Interestingly enough though, nobody reads to the end of the book of Revelation (which incidentally means "revealing"), because if they did, they would understand that after everything happens, God will unite Heaven and Earth.

Oh yeah.........as far as this Armageddon and the end of the world thing? You know, we could prevent that from happening if people would take a fundamental view of the family of man and realize that we are actually all related! Might wanna watch NatGeo's "Human Family Tree" to understand that one, as we are all 99.9 percent identical.

God isn't going to bring about the end of the world via war and famine, mankind is. And, considering the way that the world came together for December 31st, 1999 and celebrated New Years for 24 hours, my question is, why can't we all come together in that way again?
