The Best Analysis Of What Really Happened To The Boeing 737 Max From A Pilot & Software Engineer

Yep, that reads exactly what "managers" do. They make management decisions and the engineers need to deal with the fallout. Then when the solution turns to crap they cover it up and circle the wagons.
The "optional" AoA vane and light (below) need to be mandatory. As well as the proposed software changes confirming the stall.
"* Economic problem. Boeing sells an option package that includes an extra AoA vane, and an AoA disagree light, which lets pilots know that this problem was happening. Both 737MAXes that crashed were delivered without this option. No 737MAX with this option has ever crashed."

I'd bet that the Southwest airlines planes all have the optional AoA vane and light, which is why they have 41,000 safe flights.

Trump was the fault?

Boeing is at fault. No one else. They need to ensure that pilots are trained properly, and that the planes have adequate backup systems.
If that affects profits, just imagine what the crashes will cost.

Ok...Ok.... but why is this in politics?

The left was blaming Trump for his shutdown that cost the Feds (FAA) 5-weeks to do nothing. Then they blamed Trump for not nominating an FAA director. I'm not sure why he posted it, but its an interesting topic. The FAA should take action when planes crash. Flying is supposed to be safer than driving.

Since when the Boeing have the responsibility for training pilots? That's the responsibility of the companies that hire and employ them.
