It makes a big difference. If the bad guy doesn't have a gun, then you having a gun makes a massive difference. If you both have guns, chances are someone (maybe even you) will get shot.

My fire arms are registered and i do not fear confiscation as that will not happen. The people who commit crimes get their weapons from the people who buy them legally, let them get stolen or sell them to get higher price. No....the anti gunners who responed to my thread on the image of gun owners don't respond to this thread because it lays bear their real feelings...that it is better that a woman is raped rather than she stop the rape with a gun...since that is logically where their argument goes.
