Yeah......the Greeks are still here, but their contributions to the world have greatly declined since the Hellenic period.

They still contribute Gyros, Ouzo and hairy women.

Interestingly enough, their theistic system is completely gone, only remembered as something from ancient history.

However.............

The Jews still have pretty much the same theistic system of belief that they had over 5,000 years ago.

Why? The Greeks worshiped false idols, the Jews didn't.
